Join us in welcoming Loess Hills Audubon Society board member Phil Breed. Phil is retired from public education, and started keeping bees in 2018, Birdsong Bees. He is President of Siouxland Beekeepers and is Coordinator of Siouxland Beekeepers “Moving Forward with Sustainable Beekeeping” Field Day. He is also a Volunteer Beekeeper/Education Volunteer at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve.

Phil will present an entertaining and interactive program that includes learning about bee anatomy, understanding the plights of both honey bees and the native bees, and the role of human beings in the current status and future of pollinators.

You won’t want to miss it!
